Thanks the Lord, we were able to establish 3 reception centers in Poland in which 2 of them are in Zabrze. As of April 2024, there are a total of 117 Ukrainian refugees living in Zabrze. Among them, more than 60 of them received the Lord as their saviour. Today, 38 Ukrainian refugees are still living in our reception center. The operation of the reception centre actually involves a lot of work, including clearing ditches, shoveling snow, moving beds, building beds, carrying bottles of water, taking out garbage, etc. I am grateful that the Ukrainian brothers and sisters who live together take turns to help with the daily chores. One night, the reception centre was flooded and the Ukrainian brothers helped until late at night! The Ukrainian sisters are responsible for making bread for the bread breaking meeting as well as passing the bread and cups during the Sunday meeting!
Our younger brothers and sisters are helpful too. Not only they like to jump on the trampoline and eating ice-popicles together, they also love to rush out to help carrying the bottles of water!
In this month, a family moved out because they got an accommodation from the government. They have been living with us since August 2022. They had a baby girl during the period they stayed with us. Seeing the family grows and the baby girl is able to walk around, it was hard for everyone to say goodbye.
On 4th of April, we were informed that Light and Love Home has successfully registered as an NGO in Poland! May the Lord bless us greatly and use Light and Love Home to reach a wide range of people in Poland.
The Zabrze and Krakow teams support each other through online meetings and occasional meals together. We even went on an outing to the snowy mountains together and threw snowballs at one another. We were having a blast! Even some brothers and sisters have left Poland, we still meet and pray together online in the monthly Polish International Prayer Meeting. Thank you very much for all your support!
There was also a big breakthrough in literary audio work. With the efforts of the Polish team and the UK team, the first audio book Daily Fellowship with the Lord was released! May the Lord use it greatly to become a blessing to many people!
